Okay, so now I'm really freaked out...

How can one write a summary of a book on linguistics and works of translation, and find a reference to Stargate every now and again?

I'm writing a summary of Karl Dedecius' "Vom Übersetzen" and it's second time I found something that would remind me of SG in some twisted way. The guy mentioned Ancients (the Earthly ones, from Greece, I know, but still...).

And later, on the same page, he says something about points of origin in translation, which, of course, reminded me of the Ori.

I just hope I would be able to finish my homework before I give into those little suggestions and go watch some SG instead writing summary...

*sigh*

"Ancients (the Earthly ones, from Greece, I know, but still...)." - but we don't know that that's really true. It is a secret government project after all ;)

Ah, yes... A secret government project that every SG fan knows about. I wonder if this is the 'cover' TV show, like 'Wormhole X-treme'... Oh, that would be twisted! :D
